Training Health, Safety and Environment

The Health and safety training is compulsory for all doctoral students of ED 222 PhD.

Until 2020, this training was organized over 2 days and was provided in French. The EDSC has decided to change the training in order to adapt it to the non-French speaking students (50% in our ED) and also to give the possibility to following it by videoconference.

The 14 hours training remains mandatory and all three parts of the training must be registered on AMETHIS. Please note that the attendance lists will be checked.

The training now has three parts:

1.     Initial training (4h). 2 possibilities to validate the 4h :

a. the training proposed by the university (Risk prevention awareness session), or

b. the training that you have validated within your research unit "General safety training for new arrivals" provided by the prevention officer of your unit and possibly supplemented by NEO. A certificate must be provided.

2.   Health, safety and environment training course (8h). This videoconference will take place on February 16, 2023, the program is attached. The BBB link will be sent to you no later than 2 weeks before the meeting. A test will be done at the end of the training. Only one training will be carried out annually. To register, a link on AMETHIS will be available soon.

3.  Training in the use of an extinguisher (2h)
