Educational registration

List of documents to download on the application with signature of the doctoral student, the thesis director and the director of the research unit for a second registration :

  • The request for 2nd registration via the doctoral application signed by the candidate, the thesis director and the director of the research unit.
  • A progress report (2 pages) targeted by the thesis supervisor. This statement should highlight the progress made during the past year.
  • The list of disciplinary and non-disciplinary courses followed during the past year. This list must be signed by the doctoral student and the thesis director.
  • The training agreement (see procédure)

Any incomplete file will be refused.

Status of the thesis

The PhD students write each year a progress report of the thesis that they make aim by the director of thesis. The volume is indicated on the application form. Progress should highlight progress made during the year.

Training in the discipline : annual conferences list + AMT

Doctoral students must complete 18 hours of training in the discipline during the 3 years of the doctorate (ie a total of 54 hours). When registering in the 2nd and 3rd year and before the thesis defense - or the re-enrollment in the 4th year - the doctoral student must produce, a list of 12 conferences ((basis: 1 hour conference + discussion)) in the discipline of the thesis (speaker, title, date, place) and Thematic Afternoon (AMT) that he attended during the previous year. The doctoral student can also fulfill the obligation of training in the discipline by taking into account the advanced training he has followed (summer school or course of ED for PhD students in the discipline of the thesis). He will included these formations on the list of conferences.

This list must be signed by the doctoral student and the thesis director. Lists without signatures will not be accepted.

Administrative reinstatement

The administrative registration for a doctorate is done as soon as the secretariat of the doctoral school will have informed you by email about the validation of your teaching file. You will then be able to file online the supporting documents requested during your administrative registration and to follow the progress of the processing of your file on the new PJWEB digital service.

The final validation will be made only after receipt of the following supporting documents and payment of tuition fees:

  • Individual analysis sheet
  • Photocopy of an identity document
  • Photocopy of the visa if applicable
  • 1 photo of identity (2 if card culture, to note on the back name and surname)
  • Photocopy of the employment contract or attestation of financing of the thesis
  • Social Security Coverage (if required) and Liability Coverage
  • 1 certificate of schooling in case of parallel enrollment in another institution
